Production performance starts with the right machine.

Use these launch-readiness guidelines to choose a suitable production machine. Final signed commercial installers remain release-gated until final release validation is complete.

Windows

Operating system
Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
Processor
Modern 4-core x64 CPU minimum; 6–8+ modern cores recommended for multi-source production.
Memory
8 GB minimum for lighter workflows; 16 GB recommended; 32 GB+ for demanding multi-source, Conference and ISO workflows.
Graphics
Hardware-accelerated integrated graphics minimum; a modern discrete GPU is recommended for heavier 1080p production.
Storage
SSD strongly recommended. Keep at least 10 GB free before installation and substantially more free space when recording.

macOS

Builds
Separate Intel x64 and Apple Silicon arm64 release paths are prepared.
Processor
Apple Silicon recommended. Intel Macs require the x64 build.
Memory
8 GB minimum for lighter workflows; 16 GB recommended; higher unified memory for advanced production.
Storage
SSD storage with at least 10 GB free before installation; additional capacity required for recordings.
Network
Wired Ethernet is strongly recommended for streaming, NDI and professional remote production.
PERFORMANCE GUIDE

Scale the production to the machine.

HEGAY ONE can run lighter or heavier productions. Source count, frame rate, browser sources, Conference layouts, recording and streaming all affect system load.

Start with 1080p30

On lower-spec machines, use 1080p30 rather than 60 fps and avoid unnecessarily high-resolution source files.

Protect free storage

Keep production media and recordings on fast SSD storage and maintain healthy free disk space during long sessions.

Reduce simultaneous load

Close heavy background applications and add browser sources, Conference/SuperSource, ISO recording and streaming only as the machine can sustain them.
