Quick Start

HEGAY ONE is built around a broadcast-safe Preview → Program workflow. Assign sources to Inputs 1–12, prepare the next source in Preview, verify picture and audio, then use CUT or AUTO TAKE.

Sources

Use + ADD / CHANGE SOURCE for cameras, video, images, screens/windows, browser sources, audio, remote guests and other supported source types. Use − REMOVE or the Delete key to clear the selected input. HEGAY ONE blocks source removal while that input is live on Program.

Preview / Program

Preview is preparation. Program is the live/recorded output. Local video Preview uses its own transport so checking a clip does not stop the copy already playing in Program.

Audio

Vertical meters on every input show source audio activity. Preview has a confidence meter, while Program / Recording shows the Master bus used by the recording path.

Virtual Studio

Open Production Tools → Virtual Studio. Choose Green Screen, Normal Footage or Full Override. Select presenter source, studio set and optional media-wall source. Use Preview Studio before Take Studio Live.

Church Production

Church Production combines Bible presentation, licensed/authorised lyrics, saved songs, service order, scripture history and congregation output. Broadcast Program can keep the pastor or worship team on camera while scripture or lyrics appear as broadcast overlays.

Two-Operator Worship

Open Tools → Open Worship Control Desk on a second monitor. Operator 1 keeps control of cameras and Program. Operator 2 prepares scripture or lyrics, previews them and explicitly takes them live. A separate Congregation Output can feed a projector, TV or LED wall with full-screen text. Searching or editing on the Worship Desk does not automatically change Program.

Recommended display arrangement: primary monitor = main HEGAY ONE switcher; second monitor = Worship Control Desk; third display/projector = Congregation Output.

Scene Memories

Save the current Preview composition to a Scene Memory. Recall returns the scene to Preview only. TAKE SCENE LIVE is the explicit Program action.

Record / Stream

Configure recording and streaming before going live. Use the ON AIR and network-health indicators as operator confidence, and confirm Program audio before recording.

Recovery & Safety

v0.30 automatically keeps a local recovery snapshot when production state changes. Use File → Restore Recovery Autosave after interruption. PROGRAM LOCK prevents accidental direct takes during setup. SAFE PROGRAM hides live overlays while preserving the current Program source.
